The Galileo system is a joint project between the EU and the European Space Agency aimed at creating a positioning system that's independent of the United States, Russia or China. It was launched in December 2017, after 15 years of development.

The very first women's match of the season is scheduled is between IVA Homa and Wapping Tigers at one o'clock on Sunday 23rd September at Moberly Sports Centre in Kensal Rise followed the same day by an 8 o'clock evening game at St Augustine's School, Westminster where ULU entertain Wapping Tigers. The division's fixture list continues with Malory Eagles 2 at home to Wimbledon Wildkats on Tuesday 2nd October and with Flaming 6 Blaze at home to London Lynx on Sunday 7th.

Next day Flaming 6 Blackjacks travel to Lionhearts Predators and during the following week Malory Eagles are at home to Willesden on 27th and K S Osemka at home to Lionhearts Pride on 28th September.
