All of Meghan Markle’s best repeated outfits, including £1,315 Stella McCartney dress and THAT pink trench
MEGHAN Markle was praised this month, for recycling not one, but four dresses during her and Prince Harry’s royal tour of Africa.
But, it’s not the first time the thrifty Duchess has repeated some of her favourite outfits, with the new mum having been spotted in a number of timeless styles recently.
In April 2018, Meghan was spotted wearing a £1,315 Stella McCartney dress, just weeks before she wore the stunning Stella McCartney halterneck reception gown at her and Harry’s wedding.
The Duchess wore the dress for the Queen’s 92nd birthday celebrations, but just months later, it seems the outfit had become a firm favourite in Meghan’s wardrobe after she was spotted wearing it again at the opening ceremony of the Sydney Invictus Games.
The gorgeous dress features a cape sleeve design and Meghan wore her hair in a loose bun on both occasions.
However, fast-forward a year and it seems the Duchess has a new favourite dress in her wardrobe.
During the Sussexes first royal tour as a family of three, Meghan was spotted recycling two outfits, previously worn while she was pregnant with five-month-old baby Archie.
For Meghan’s second royal engagement at the District Six Museum, she wore a beautiful £465 sky blue shirt-dress by Veronica Beard.
She had previously worn the blue dress during a visit to Tonga when she was three months pregnant last October.
While at the time, Meghan paired the dress with light blue heels and minimal jewellery, this time, she wore her hair down in her signature wave and teamed it with just a simple pair of gold earrings.
Fans were convinced Meghan had re-worn the dress because it was one of her favourites, after the duchess chose a picture of her wearing the style for both her birthday thank you cards and Harry’s birthday Instagram tribute.
And it wasn’t the only chic look the Duchess recycled on this year’s tour.
While attending a reception at the British High Commissioner’s Residence, Meghan stepped out in a striped Martin Grant maxi dress she previously wore on Bondi Beach, during her and Harry’s royal tour of Australia last autumn.
The Duchess of Sussex teamed the £1,080 dress with statement earrings, having previously worn the sundress shortly after she announced her pregnancy in October 2018.
And royal fans can’t stop praising Meghan for repeating outfits she wore during pregnancy and “owning her post-baby body”.
Just days later, royal fans noticed another favourite piece from the mum-of-one’s wardrobe.
During her surprise Skype appearance to the women at the Nalikule College of Education, Meghan wore a short-sleeved khaki dress she had previously sported in July, when she was seen cradling baby Archie at the polo.
The lightweight linen frock is by Lisa Marie Fernandez and is priced at £480.
On the final day of the Africa tour, Meghan wowed royal fans in her much-loved pink trench dress.
The Duchess wore the sleeveless style while meeting Nelson Mandela‘s widow, Grace Machel.
Meghan and Harry finished the tour by attending an audience with South Africa’s president Cyril Ramaphosa and his wife Dr Tshepo Motsepe.
Rather fittingly, Meghan had previously worn the £660 Nonie dress while visiting The Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition in July last year.
