Curtis McElhinney allowed 3 goals on 40 shots for the OT loss. The Lightning allowed score effects to really snowball in the Third Period and saw Nashville's shot totals baloon to unacceptable levels because of them.

9:25 TB Johnson (3), (Point, Hedman)
Third Period
14:47 NSH Josi (5), (Jarnkork, Johansen)(PP)

Steven Stamkos was the game's third star.
After an anemic start to the year, most of the Lightning's game has been trending in the right direction. The penalty kill has been a lone, alarming exception thus far.
However, the Lightning did collect their twelfth point in ten games, meaning they got done what they needed to be comfortably on playoff pace. As ugly as the first five games of the year looked at times, take some solace in that fact.
