Southern Charm: What Is Patricia Altschul's Net Worth?
Patricia Altschul from Southern Charm is a socialite who became well-known after appearing on the reality show, and she has a sizable personal net worth.
The show brought former art collector Patricia fame, but it did not bring her wealth. Before Southern Charm even began, Patricia had amassed quite a fortune. She and her son Whitney Sudler-Smith, who is the creator and executive producer of Southern Charm, have been showing the world the lavish lifestyle they have been living in Charleston, South Carolina. Fans of the reality series want to know exactly how much Patricia is worth and how she made her money.
According to Heavy, Patricia has been married a number of times, but the man she was most recently married to was Arthur Altschul. Her husband was a general partner at Goldman Sachs, as well as the chairman of General American Investors. According to reports, Altschul was a billionaire and her marriage to him is the main reason why she's so wealthy. In Patricia's book, The Art of Southern Charm, she wrote about how wonderful Altschul was. She described him as a businessman and a true gentleman who had a great sense of humor. He died in 2002. Patricia was inconsolable after his death and could not believe that she would never see her beloved husband again. Twelve years after his death, Patricia began to appear on Southern Charm, where she currently earns a generous salary. Each cast member makes a total of around 25,000 an episode, so cast members may earn up to $375,000 per season. Due to wealth acquired during her marriage and her other lucrative pursuits, Patricia is worth $20 million dollars. Patricia keeps earning more money, so she's definitely not resting on her laurels. Due to the show, Patricia has been able to start her own home decor line. The collection is available on The Home Shopping Network and includes embroidered pillows, a faux fur-trimmed bathrobe (as shown above), and animal print faux fur blankets. Her line is a fairly new business venture which launched earlier this month. Patricia is a successful Southern Charm businesswoman and she is also an author. She wrote a book called The Art of Southern Charm in 2017. It focused on Patricia's life while not on the show. In the book, Patricia gives tips on how to host a cocktail party and how to deliver a perfectly phrased insult. She reveals that she sold her Long Island, New York mansion for 12.5 million back in 2009. The home that she shared with her late husband has 30 rooms, an elevator, a rose garden, and a library, and rests on 10 acres of land. Patricia received a pretty penny just from selling this home.
With a very high net worth, Patricia from Southern Charm never has to work again. What she made selling her Long Island mansion alone is enough money for almost anyone.
