Kim Kardashian & North West's Shared TikTok Account Seemingly Banned by App
Update: Kim Kardashian and North West‘s TikTok account has been reinstated without an explanation from the social media platform.
However, a new report from TMZ suggests that North might be “taking a break” from the account to focus on different things.
“North has been more interested in focusing her creativity in other areas lately and is taking a break from TikTok. Like most kids, interests change often, so she may be back on as early as tomorrow — or never again,” a source claimed.

Original: Kim Kardashian and North West appear to have been banned on TikTok.
The mother-daughter pair operated a joint account called @kimandnorth where they shared videos to more than 15 million followers.
However, on Thursday (April 6), users who went to pull up the account on the social media platform were informed that it had been banned and was “no longer available.”

It is unclear why the account might have been removed as no explanation has yet been revealed. It is possible that TikTok decided to enforce a rule saying that users had to be a minimum age of 13 to have an account.
North is only 9, and there have been questions in the past about how she was allowed on the platform. Her presence has been controversial at times, especially with her father Kanye West.
The rapper put his ex on blast in early 2022 for allowing his daughter to be on the app. He spoke out several times, making it clear that he did not condone the decision.
Kim responded to Kanye‘s complaints, explaining why she was allowing her daughter on the platform. Her daughter has previously gotten in trouble for going live on the app without permission.
Despite the complaints, North went viral after transforming into Kanye in a video on the app earlier this year.
We’ll let you know if we learn more about the decision from TikTok or hear from Kim and North.
