Emmerdale spoiler for today July 3, 2023: shock wedding rocks the village
HOTTEN town hall welcomes Tracy Metcalfe back to Yorkshire tonight as she gets ready to tie the knot with a mystery man.
But one Emmerdale resident appears determined to crash the ceremony, prompting Cain and Moira Dingle to take action.
Tracy Metcalfe (portrayed by Amy Walsh) was briefly seen in the Dales in October, 2022, ahead of the ITV soap’s fiftieth anniversary.
After reconnecting with Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), Tracy made her way back to Nottingham where her fiancé was waiting for her.
But tonight, Tracy returns to Yorkshire once again with the firm intention of tying the knot with a mystery man.
Meanwhile, in the eponymous village, Moira and Cain Dingle (respectively played by Natalie J Robb and Jeff Hordley) hear from notorious gossip Nicola King that Nate is heading to the town hall.
Fearing he’s about to do something stupid and fight for custody of Frankie, they race off to stop him.
They soon spot Tracy in a wedding dress outside the Registry Office with an attractive man and conclude that Nate is actually planning to crash her wedding.
Cain acts decisively and kidnaps Nate before he can go inside, knocking him out in the process.
When he comes round in the van back in the village, Nate is aghast by what they have done.
As mentioned above, Tracy and Nate reconnected upon her return to Emmerdale in late 2022 – and while the hunk was romantically involved with Naomi Walters.
Naomi and Nate soon broke things off and she went on to date troublesome Alex Moore.
