Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce that Walker Erickson has committed to the Simon Fraser University Red Leafs for next season.
“ Walker was able to fit in seamlessly with our group in the second half of the season,” says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. “He works tirelessly at his game and this is a very deserving opportunity to continue his educational and hockey endeavours. We are extremely excited as an organization to see such a great kid get to move on to the next stage of his life and career.”
Erickson suited up for 164 games in four seasons in the BCHL. He finished his career with the Vipers, registering 9 goals and 8 assists.
“I want to thank my family and all the BCHL organizations I have had the privilege to play for over my 4 years in the league, says Erickson. “I would especially like to thank the Vernon Vipers organization for giving me an amazing 2nd half for my 20 year. Thank you Vernon!”
Please join us in congratulating Walker on the accomplishment and wishing him all the best with SFU.
