I lost 77 lbs and still eat pizza – my stuffed crust recipe is just 290 calories including toppings and cheese
A TIKTOKER has revealed how she shed 77 pounds without giving up pizza.
She lost the weight by creating healthy recipes out of her favorite foods.
Arwa (@bakeswith_a) revealed her 290-calorie homemade pizza in a video on TikTok.
“290-calorie stuffed crust pizza,” read the text.
She filmed herself assembling the dough, including: flour, Italian herbs, salt, garlic, and fat-free yogurt.
“Mix and knead,” she said. “Add water drops if needed.”
Next, she showed a clip of herself shaping out the pizza dough to get it ready for cheese-filled crust.
“Roll out thin as possible,” she said. “Use flour if needed.”
On top of the pizza, she added the mozzarella cheese on the edge of the dough.
“Fold over edges,” she said. “Pinch to secure.”
She air fried the dough until golden brown, adding more toppings, including: tomato sauce, red onion, bell pepper, and low-fat mozzarella.
She revealed the nutrition facts of the pizza, adding: “20 grams of protein, 290 calories for the whole pizza.”
Arwa revealed that she’s lost 77 pounds to date, writing in her TikTok bio: “35 kilograms down.”
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts on the meal in the comment section.
“Guys this recipe is so great,” one wrote. “Personally I use Skyr and a little spoon of water instead of the non-fat yogurt and it still works amazing.”
