Salma Hayek Soars in Strappy Heels at Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner

Salma Hayek had a sparkling red carpet moment as she attended the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner in New York City on Tuesday night. This marks the second year of the fundraising event, which is organized to raise money for organizations like the Jordan River Foundation, which addresses gender-based violence.

The “Grown Ups” actress walked the black carpet wearing a pair of black sandals. The leather heels featured a strappy design along the almond toe. The sandals brought height to the look with a platform sole and a thin block heel that was about 5 inches tall.

Hayek paired the heels with a burgundy sequin-embellished gown with a thigh-high slit. The fitted silhouette featured a straight neckline interrupted by a plunging cutout that connected to black halter straps. 

The actress accessorized with a set of sparkling silver-toned rings and a pair of dangle earrings that dropped into a garnet stone. She completed the look with a black leather clutch with a crystal-embellished clasp. She kept her dark brown hair in a softly waved style which complimented her minimal makeup that featured a nude pink lip.

The actress arrived with her husband François-Henri Pinault. Pinault has been the CEO of Kering since 2005. Hayek served as the co-chairman at the event last night, along with other stars like Zoë Kravitz, Oprah Winfrey and Olivia Wilde. 

Hayek has an extensive shoe closet filled with versatile styles and textures. The “Grown Ups” actress is known for slipping into platform pumps and sandals as she did for this look. Her collection is filled with styles from designer labels like Gucci, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti. The actress is often dressed by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who also works with Florence Pugh, Simone Ashley and Gemma Chan. The stylist can be accredited for the red sequin fringed Gucci gown she wore to the Oscars this past March.
