Private use of fireworks banned in 17 areas of Helsinki on New Year’s
THE CITY OF HELSINKI has yet again banned the private use of fireworks in the busiest downtown areas, as well as a number of squares and marketplaces located further away from the city centre, reports Helsingin Sanomat.
A complete list of areas where private individuals will not be allowed to set off fireworks can be found on the website of Helsinki City Rescue Department.
