'Release it!' MSNBC host stunned by new report of treasure trove of Epstein video

Reacting to a report that Steve Bannon is reportedly sitting on hours of raw footage where he interviewed accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, a stunned and excited MSNBC host blurted "Release it!" on Saturday morning.

Appearing on MSNBC's "The Weekend," NBC reporter Vaughan Hillyard filled in co-hosts Jonathan Capehart and Eugene Daniels on his reporting that Bannon had planned a documentary on Epstein and has a reported 15 to 16 hours of video of interviews with him before he died while in custody.

As Hilyard wrote, "Mark Epstein said that Bannon, the MAGA media personality, worked with his brother, then a convicted sex offender, after the Miami Herald in 2018 chronicled victims’ details of abuse by Jeffrey Epstein. The two men filmed together before Epstein’s arrest by federal authorities in the summer of 2019."

On Saturday morning he told an open-mouthed Capehart, "Steve Bannon sat down and worked with Jeffrey Epstein and, according to Mark Epstein, the two men filmed about 15 to 16 hours worth of footage. Steve Bannon, after Jeffrey Epstein's death, actually had a meeting in New York with Mark Epstein and was talking to him about getting some funding to put together a documentary. Mark Epstein said, 'No, I'm not giving you any money for this documentary.'"

He then added, "The American public hasn't seen this 15 hours of footage. I reached out to Steve yesterday, haven't heard back from him. He has suggested last week on his own podcast that potentially he may release a documentary come next year. but that goes back to the whole thing of there's 15 hours of raw footage that Bannon has and while he's calling for full transparency and the unsealing of all the evidence of the files from the DOJ, he is yet to release his own."

"That's primary source reporting that Steve Bannon has right there!" Capehart exclaimed. "Then release it!"
