Rory McIlroy's Open Championship Shot Magically Spawns Another Ball
Just when you think you've seen everything in professional sports, golfer Rory McIlroy had a shot at the Open Championship on Saturday that proved us wrong.
McIlroy was taking a shot from the rough during the third round of the Open Championship on Saturday when magic happened.
McIlroy took his shot and hit a good one, but in the process another ball flew up out of the ground, seemingly out of nowhere.
McIlroy hilariously picked up the ball and stared at it while his shot was still in the air, showing he was just as stunned as the rest of us.

You just know someone somewhere is saying, "that's where my ball went!"
It's quite apparent that there was a ball buried underneath McIlroy's and his shot simply brought it up. Still, it's pretty funny to see.
The reactions to the video were about what you'd expect. Some even wondered if this could count as a penalty against McIlroy, although it doesn't appear that's the case.
"I have never seen what just happened to Rory McIlroy. Never in my life," USA TODAY Sports columnist Dan Wolken said.
"Serious question: does this count as hitting a wrong ball?" one fan asked.
"No you have to intentionally hit the wrong ball ball, not accidentally hit one hidden," another fan replied.
According to the official Open Championship leaderboard, McIlroy is tied for sixth place at -7, which is six strokes behind leader Scottie Scheffler, who is sitting at -13.
