The High Court in Accra has granted bail to Bright Alan Debrah Fosu, one of the seven persons convicted in the 2021 attempted coup plot, pending the determination of his appeal. Fosu and five others were convicted of high treason and sentenced to death by hanging on January 24, 2024.
