Illinois businessman gets over 2 years for tax evasion

(AP) — A Douglas County businessman has been sentenced to more than two years in prison for failing to pay income tax. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Springfield says 49-year-old Lorenzo Shane Stewart of Tuscola was ordered Tuesday to serve two years and six months in prison and three years of supervised release.
