Here students survive amid cracked walls, leaking pipes

Thiruvananthapuram: The decades-old landmark building in the capital, University Men's Hostel, cuts the figure of a crumbling monument with cracked walls, leaking pipes and piles of garbage. The hostel has 260 rooms, a large share of which is rendered unusable and those occupied remain overcrowded.
