FAYETTE, Mo. - After spending several years as a member of the NAIA, the Central Methodist University competitive dance program will be switching gears and joining the National Dance Alliance (NDA) this season. The program will undeclare from the NAIA ahead of the 2020-21 academic year.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Heart of America Athletic Conference has announced that Central Methodist Director of Athletic Communications, Shelby Scott, was named the Dave Fillmore Sports Information Director of the Year for the 2019-20 academic year. The award was voted on by the sports information directors in the conference. 

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After a successful year of competition, Central Methodist University has claimed the Heart Commissioner's Cup for the 2019-20 academic year. This year's standings only reflect the fall and winter seasons as the spring season was canceled due to the COVID-19 Global Health Pandemic.

MANHEIM, PA - The National Wrestling Coaches Association has announced the full slate of 2019-2020 Scholar All-American Team and Individual honorees for the NAIA Women's Wrestling category with awards going to 59 individuals representing 11 institutions. Central Methodist women's wrestling had two members named to the list.
