HENDERSON, Tenn. – The 17th-ranked Lyon College baseball team came up just short in a high-scoring affair at No. 6 Freed-Hardeman as the Lions earned a 10-8 win against the Scots in what was the series finale of a three-game set between the two teams on Tuesday night. Lyon dropped to 27-12 (12-6 American Midwest Conference), while FHU improved to 28-9 (16-2 AMC).

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Lyon College baseball team has continued to move up the rankings this season as the Scots climbed to No. 17 in the latest NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, which was announced by the national office on Tuesday afternoon.

MELBOURNE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's golf team climbed up the leaderboard today to finish in third place at the Lyon College Spring Invite. Several golfers stepped up on the final day of the competition, highlighted by Tomas Mariscotti earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team by totaling a 148 (+4) over his 36 holes. Felicity Reeves continued her stellar play by improving her score again today to claim seventh-place honors.

MELBOURNE, Ark. – Tomas Mariscotti led the Lyon golf teams today as the men's and women's units were back in action at the Lyon College Spring Invite. Mariscotti fired a first round 73 (+1) to put him in fourth place heading into the final day of the tournament tomorrow. The Lyon men's golf squad is currently in fifth place by tallying a 310 team score, while Felicity paced the Scots on the women's side of the competition.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Lyon College men's track and field freshman Weston Klein (FR/Cottleville, Mo.) has been tabbed the American Midwest Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced this afternoon. This is Klein's first career Athlete of the Week honor after competing in just three collegiate track meets so far in his freshman season.

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The 18th-ranked Lyon College baseball team earned a 2-1 American Midwest Conference series win at Lindenwood-Belleville this past weekend as the Scots will continue a four-game conference road trip at No. 4 Freed-Hardeman on Tuesday afternoon. The Scots and Lions will conclude their three-game series with a single nine-inning game beginning at 4 p.m. in Henderson, Tenn.

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College softball team takes on Freed-Hardeman University on Tuesday in a conference doubleheader with the first game starting at 4:00 p.m.

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Scots return to the course Apr. 1 and 2 to host the Lyon College Spring Invite. The two-day tournament will begin tomorrow morning at the par-72 Cooper's Hawk Golf Course in Melbourne, Arkansas.
