OKLAHOMA CITY - The Sooner Athletic Conference has announced its Academic All-Conference and Commissioner's Honor Roll honorees for the 2018-19 season, and the Mid-America Christian University athletic department was well represented across the board.

OKLAHOMA CITY–  Coming off back-to-back NCCAA National Championships, the Mid-America Christian University women's basketball team has added to an already-strong coaching staff for the 2019-20 season. Head Coach Hannah Moeller has announced the addition of Logan Martin as the third member of the staff, joining returning assistant coach Kelsie Dutton, as the Evangels look to continue building on the solid foundation they've established. 

OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian University baseball head coach Adrian Savedra continues to add to his coaching staff for the 2019-20 season and beyond. After recently announcing the addition of Nick Blackburn, the Evangels have announced an addition to their full time staff to complete the group that will lead the Evangels into the future.

OKLAHOMA CITY – For the first time since 2010, the Mid-America Christian University athletic website – www.macuathletics.com – will undergo a major overhaul in the months of June and July. Because of this work, the site will be unavailable in those two months, with a re-launch of the site targeted for August 1, 2019. Additionally, MACU is also moving their streaming video platform from Stretch Internet to YouTube.

OKLAHOMA CITY – In conjunction with the 2019 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) softball world series, the NCCAA annually presents its Game Plan 4 Life Character award. This year, the honor went to a nominee from the Mid-America Christian University softball program.

OKLAHOMA CITY - With the recent departure of Zach Bice from the Mid-America Christian University soccer programs, the Evangels had a decision to make. They already had Evan Dresel in house as a co-head coach of both programs, but the MACU Athletic Administration felt that the time was right to move to a model with head coaches of both teams individually, rather than two co-head coaches.

OKLAHOMA CITY – After conducting a thorough search to find a new head volleyball coach, the Mid-America Christian University athletic department has found their man.

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Mid-America Christian University softball team posted another 30-win season in 2019, their fourth such season in their last six campaigns, and they posted a third place finish in the Sooner Athletic Conference. When the SAC announced their all-conference softball teams this week, MACU had six players honored on the lists.

OKLAHOMA CITY - For Mid-America Christian University's baseball team, Ben Donnell was a bright spot in a 2019 season that was filled with ups and downs. After the conclusion of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament, Donnell was honored in a way that was a first for an Evangel under head coach Adrian Savedra.

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Mid-America Christian University baseball team wrapped up their 2019 season less than a week ago, and already head coach Adrian Savedra is making moves to help make his ball club better for 2020. On Thursday, the Evangels announced the hiring of a new assistant coach for next season to help bolster the consistency of MACU's pitching staff going forward with a Major League veteran.
