ST. LOUIS—[BOX SCORE] No. 18 Missouri Baptist Men's Basketball dispatched Lyon College on Tuesday night to take sole possession of first in the AMC heading into the Christmas break. The Scots proved pesky but the Spartans pulled away late for a 68-49 victory.
SAINT LOUIS – [BOX SCORE] Missouri Baptist Women's Basketball put together one of its strongest defensive efforts of the season against the No. 1-ranked three-point offense in the nation on Tuesday. The Spartans kept it close until midway through the fourth quarter, but fell to the No. 14-ranked Lyon (Ark.) 70-53.
SAINT LOUIS – Missouri Baptist University Athletics announced on Monday that four home basketball games in January will be carried on ESPN3. The broadcasts will be the first home, regular season games, that Missouri Baptist will produce on ESPN's online broadcast network.

ST. LOUIS—[BOX SCORE] No. 18 Missouri Baptist Men's Basketball made a statement on Saturday afternoon with a 94-71 victory over previously unbeaten Central Baptist College. The Mustangs came in 5-0 and were receiving votes in the first Top 25 Coaches' Poll.
SAINT LOUIS – [BOX SCORE] Missouri Baptist went blow for blow against Central Baptist (Ark.) on Saturday and had just enough in the tank at the end. Amanda Rowden led with a career-high 19 points in a 74-70 decision over the Mustangs.
