The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has confirmed the safe return of a Ghanaian national, Emmanuel Akowuah Asamoah, who was assisted by government to leave South Africa following reports of xenophobic violence targeting foreign nationals.
