Interesting what those 2 have to say.

Not really. Ridiculous to even suggest that RL wouldn't get a TV deal.

The average viewing figures for Channel 4 games this season is over 250k. Sky games obviously won't be as much but still probably healthy. And similar to lower level football games.

We should be getting a healthy deal. Читать дальше...

Right now, I don't think Ivan Cleary would be able to do much with this squad or the budget he has to work with.

I do feel, however Mash is way out of his depth.

Bradford Bulls • Swinton (H)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

So with Dunning sacked it’s Greenwood’s chance to put a marker down for the rest of the season. Swinton are coming off a huge win against Toulouse and will likely see this as a game they can win after seeing our performance.

Do we have any injuries to come back? Or are we stuck with the same side that capitulated at Barrow?

What changes do we make?

Disappointing if true. We don't know what those who see him everyday see, but I've liked the look of him. Certainly has potential, perhaps hasn't shown enough but to counter he has had limited opportunities.

Time will tell but DB has stated that the Leopards are a brand, which means they can play anywhere not just in their hometown. DB has eventually done wonders at Leigh but he is a businessman and if there are bigger crowd opportunities elsewhere that's where the Leopards will play some games. The city of Manchester is right on our doorstep so it wouldn't surprise me that, in the future, DB will try to expand the brand there after he has turned the Leopards into a successful brand. Isa and Hampshire for Nsemba and Shorrocks. Isa at 13 and Smithies at 8.

I keep thinking about what happens to Shorrocks when we have a stand off available and it feels like he deserves a spot somewhere in the 17 but I’m not sure where you’d fit him in. I’d go Isa and Farrell second row and KPP on the bench, O’Neill deserves a bench spot and you’d want a couple of props on there as well. Читать дальше...

The Savelio one isnt that much a mystery as some are making out, go back and watch the games and watch his attitude in defence, flat footed and downright lazy. Showed terrible attitude defending. I thought Lane was alot better against Wigan id be interested to see hos tackling stats in that game, hopefully he l keep it up. But his attitude is alot better now compared to Savelios. That quote was a disaster for the club. It can't be another 10 week interview process. Indentify the person you want, approach him and get him signed up like York did with Henderson.

I'm sure the performance on the field has done that if it's happened.

The atmosphere / noise is massively reduced due to there being fewer fans in there, not helped by the performances.
Overall it's better but, something has been lost with the upgrade.

But Myler isn`t any good in the halves and Handley is much better on the wing.
Wouldn`t be surprised to see Gannon at half back.
Looking something like this:
Myler
Tindall, Newman, Macdonald, Handley
Gannon, Austin.
Oledzki, O`Connor, Tetavano
Martin, Bentley
Smith

Johnson, Sangare, Walters, McDonnell

Bradford Bulls • Dunning Sacked

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

According to Examiner Live (Matt Shaw):

Bradford Bulls have parted ways with head coach Mark Dunning, Rugby League Live understands.

Dunning is understood to have been relieved of his duties after a meeting with the club's hierarchy on Monday. It came less than 24 hours after a humiliating 46-12 defeat to Championship strugglers Barrow Raiders. The Bulls conceded 42 unanswered points in Cumbria, which condemned them to a fourth loss in six games.

That was ultimately the final straw for the Bulls... Читать дальше...
