Leeds Rhinos • Where do we go from here

At the risk of knee-jerking on one result, I do think I was wrong about Smith/the project.

I’m starting to come round to the way of thinking that Smith needs time. You come back from 14-0 away at wigan and a man down, that’s surely the building blocks of something?

Let’s give him time, and let him cook.

Until the next time we lose and you knee jerk back to Smith out

Sinfield was the glue that held that great Leeds side together but as an individual player, I don’t think he’d be in my top 15-20 from the Superleague era.

Can’t see Hull offering a fee. There might a swap that’d work but I’m not sure what.

I know it can go Danny Langtree as easily as it can go Frankie Halton, but looking in the Championship might be the better option.

Luis Johnson is ooc and Smith signed him for Rovers. With Wallace joining Rovers, I’d guess Johnson would be available. Johnson is 24 now... Читать дальше...

I have just seen the tackle on Miller, how the Catalan player involved stayed on based on the current protocol is baffling.

If the game had been on Sky it would've been a straight red. Ended the night in hospital.

Very surprised at the penalty for what seemed like a shorter than 30 second shot clock ,never seen that before. At least 2 Saints tries off forward passes.

But even Houghton playing "his best rugby in years" still doesn't make you go "wow"

Dwyer was better than Houghton other night cause he makes things happen

Houghton hardly rips teams apart like clark or roby

Wakey fan. Dwyer had a huge hand in you pulling away that second half. He always causes us issues. He creates chaos at the play of ball.

Jury very much out on Walters. No issue with it as a replacement for Singleton but we need two or three experienced, proven forwards as well. Mago and Cust leaving would give us the quota spots. Let's not forget Bateman has already gone and KPP will so there are spaces to fill.

They had three props out last night and personally I think Smithies will end up there too.

I know generally their front rowers are a bit older, so maybe he can see a way through that way, but on paper it doesn’t look like instant guaranteed game time to me.

Late notice but the Plough Lane and the surrounding roads are a mess due to a water leal yesterday. Avoid Plough Lane entirely I'd suggest. Expect delays. Hope both teams arrive in good time.

After watching Huddersfield last night it is clear that there are other awful sides in the comp. Us, Cas and Huddersfield (at the moment) are shocking and even a slight uptick in form from any of us would see the other 2 in the poop. Sadly I feel our poor start leaves us too much to do even if we do pick up and the other 2 don't. 3 more wins than Cas and 5 more wins from Huddersfield is a really big ask from a standing start.

I cannot fathom the lack of depth in the halves, it was obvious last year. Fages is a sick note, and Russell just solid.
I also agree that players are being paid well without performing.
Having heard Watson's interview there was no explanation for the appalling defence... Читать дальше...

Why is our club so reactive? The last 15 years of random chaos would surely show that being proactive, strategic and planning stuff might have a better outcome. It wouldn’t hurt to at least try some planning…
