Fair enough, understand your point in I don’t disagree much.

I do think however Singleton would be a loss bigger than most would admit to. He’s a grafter prop, always up for the hard stuff and rarely lets the side down. Yes he doesn’t make many yards or dazzles in defence but he is effective for what he does. He’s the type of prop clubs need alongside your meter makers and hard defensive hitters. Plus he doesn’t cost the world either, for me we should be looking... Читать дальше...

Well Brian Noble described him exactly as that after his performance today.

Bonkers game. Good to get a win under the belt but I think most other teams would have beaten us today.

Horrid defence on show. A few players standing out today and nice to see some strong running. Nathan Mason would be a good keep but suspect he will be gone again soon and swap with someone else.

Anyone know what the Swinton complaint made was? Ref placed it on report.

I think he was complaining that Fenton Rogers was leading with the elbow or forearm. Читать дальше...

Wakefield Trinity • Kevin Sinfield

Just have to say that I've never seen anything more touching than the footage of Kevin Sinfield literally carrying his mate over that marathon finishing line. KS was a figure you loved to hate as a Loiner on the field, but as a human being and a mate he certainly fits the bill. Hopefully "Sir" Kevin can soon become the real thing

I'm intrigued what people would do with some extra money.

Let's say someone put £500,000 into the club for playing or coaching requirements this year. Not long term. Just to keep us up.

What would you do with it? You can't bring in over seas players without paying off the ones we had so there's a big hole in that money already.
Any suggestions?

Bradford Bulls • Re: Swinton (H)

I thought we were bloody awful at times today. Some attitudes in the side are really poor. Bad discipline, give up under adversity and swan around like world beaters. The beginning and end of the second half was as bad as it gets.

That new culture Mark Dunning spoke about is only skin deep. Put this team under pressure and they fall apart.

Exceptions in the cases of Scurr, Mason, Appo and Lilley.

84-12(?) at home to Bradford, end of 2001 season. I think DVDV's last run of games. I think most of team were at Nikau's leaving party getting plastered until a few hours before the game. I was in the US at the time, and couldn't get home because 9/11 happened. In fact 9/11 is probably the reason no one remembers that game, as it sort of overshadowed the controversy.

Jason Robinson was never ever a leeds player, Leeds offered to sign him and he choose Wigan instead, the idea that leeds rejected him and some how let him go is a perpetual myth. So its not remotely the same.

People making out in Walters we are letting a real talent go from under our noses is not true, he simply has not been good enough... Читать дальше...

We used to absolutely love Sunday afternoon games.

- could take the kids (next generation of fans). Can’t take my 6 year old as she gets tired come 9-9:30pm. How’s this helping bring the next gen of fans?

Wakefield Trinity • New Backer

With the current playground rumours of new backers arriving at BV, and with MC telling us all that relegation is good, it got me thinking into some of the psychology of the last few days.

Why would MC go on TV and essentially back Applegarth and the results we find ourself achieving every week, and do it with a straight face.

The only reason you could have that level of brass neck would be either if you were deluded, or if you knew what the impending situation was going to be. Other... Читать дальше...

Poor content additions and half of those are available on YouTube.

I dont recommend it to anyone.
I paid for a year, I won’t renew it in 6 months time if things don’t improve.
