Toby Warren from Leeds felt a crack in his neck and back and couldn`t move his legs.
However he is ok and recovering and is waiting to see what the long term impact will be.
He was full of praise for all the Wigan staff who looked after him.
And hats off to Mat Peet who texted him to see how he was.
Full of admiration for your coach from a Leeds fan.

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Crowther Rumour

Well the poor lad has taken some stick from many Wakey fans over the years although not from me. Debut in March 2014, that's some time in the RWB. Big loss IMHO.
No doubt many previous critics will suddenly see/miss his worth.

may need cap space for signings though

Mikaele already gone, Clark would have been on big money, Mata’utia retiring. Currie offered a lesser contract, King possibly signing for Wigan and Longstaff released we should have decent amount of cap space. Walker and Ashton probably got a rise though. Not heard anything about the 3rd marquee vote last week yet.

I'd sign him in a heartbeat.

Maybe he's been assured that we are operating as a meritocracy and he thinks he can push Walker? BTW 'One Trick Mick' had a decent autumnal career with us at interchange.

We've been well served by Clarke so it's hardly like losing Sculthorpe and if we can retune and add a bit more quality elsewhere that's not a bad strategy.

To this day, I'm still fuming about the mighty Rochdale stealing the best of our young talent in Danny, from our club.

Leeds Rhinos • Sam Walters

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Yeh, it is what it is with Walters.
Would have preferred him to stay and develop here, but he's going.
Would be much more disappointed if it were Holroyd. He already has the frame and aggression in his game to be a top drawer prop.
Walters is still a project in that respect and still has quite a way to go.
He may well develop into a top player, but as has been said, we can't keep every development project.

Fair enough 2 games.
Could have been 4 or maybe even 1.
Let`s hope we don`t appeal it and they raise it to 4.

Somebody wants sacking if we appeal that 2 game ban.
I thought nailed on for 3 or 4 given his record.

Halifax Panthers • Challenge cup sixth round Halifax vs ST Helens

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Well games do not come much tougher then facing the saints. It is a long time since we have played them at home and hopefully fans from both sides will turn out for this Fridays game. They will have quite a few of there players unavailable either injured or banned but will still pose a massive challenge for us to compete with them. I would normally make a prediction for the game but i just hope we can give them one hell of a freight and see were it takes us. Wil the saints go marching on or will the panthers score a massive surprise. Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Re: Brad Dwyer

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

One of the real problems with all our debates on the retention of players & why we don't try and sign other decent players is the fact that we never get to know the finances (and rightly so). Looking at how things work we were never really likely to keep Walker & Clark for another couple of years. Last year Clark looked a tired hooker as if injuries had taken their toll ... but wouldn't anyone. He has been superb this year.
