There’s only so long a repeat offender can drop ‘lucky’ that he doesn’t injure somebody as well. He’s caused 18 months worth of injuries, in the last 6 months, with the same tackle and I believe had a caution in between for the same offence. He’s been looked at 44 times in 5 years by the RFL (great stat from the new Wigan way podcast, that the unbelievably dirty, thuggish, Micky Mac has been looked at 43 times in 15 years). His punishments need to get heavier going forward if he doesn’t change his ways. Читать дальше...

Wakefield Trinity • Squad Vs Leigh

0-22 and its as easy as it sounds. Leigh to classy for us. All effort, no finesse. Slow line speed, slow ptb, slow passing, too many errors.

Huddersfield Giants • Chris Hill

Another two years for the big man! When he signed i had my doubts about his ability to produce the goods at his age and not give away so many penalties as he seemed to do at Warrington. He has surpassed my expectations by a mile and stayed penalty free. Him, Yates and McQueen have been immense and when they had Levi at hooker last year that's about the best Fartown pack i've witnessed. We may well have won the CC final without him getting injured in the first half last year.

I wouldn`t say having Sezer back is a boost tbh.
Plays one decent game in 5.

I'd happily take a poop first half again with a great second half to secure the win, just to see the meltdown on here again.

I haven't seen the incident, but the way it reads, 3 of our lads ganged up on one of theirs, and smacked him repeatedly including when he wasn't looking. There's playing it hard, and then there's been a "sh!thouse".

In the first half, Austin was anonymous. Enter Cust he had a field day.

And that is probably why Shorrocks will start at 6 again tomorrow.

In fairness to Cust, it was his first game back and the whole team fell apart and pretty much every Leeds player went from anonymous to having a field day. Cust had a shocker, no doubt about it but there was far more to that capitulation than just the Shorrocks to Cust change IMO. The main issue for me was complacency (mixed with a bit of arrogance). i think it is typical of how the French see RL generally. They have done everything they can over the years to stop RL being played, and this is just another way to prevent any type of growth or succes of RL in France IMO

its a little like this country, but worse, as we at least get a column 5 pages back in the sports section that you cant see amongst the adds

Bit off topic but my sons were telling me about a footless wrestler in states and I told them yheee used to be a winger with I think only one hand, am sure I saw him playing for york against Hunslet, when huslet played at the dog track on elland road. Think he was a price or Pryce ?
