Looking at Salfords squad, I think they will be strong for us, particularly in the backs, only missing really Shane Wright, I hope I'm wrong though, be disappointed if we don't give them a really tough game. Just hope they don't click, if they do they isn't a better attacking team in SL.

So what are we making of this team ?
I really think Lois has made some big mistakes with team selections so far.
I personally would like to see Amy back in the centres alongside Beevers when she is back from injury.
Ruby Enright has to come in as fullback with Nuttall & Moxon on the wings.
Hayward is a natural halfback and I’d play her alongside Caitlin Casey.
Losing Hale is probably a bigger loss off field but she can easily be replaced, I’d move Hannah Butcher to 13.

What a great result and what a great team (in the true sense of the word) we have.
That said I believe that Adrian Lam is a true master of his craft. This team is full of players that many had written off, including our own fans.
Zak- he is not the impact player he was
Briscoe- lost his pace and no longer up to the task.
Josh- way past his best, weak defence, weak under a high ball
Robbie Mulhearn- another no longer good enough at this level

I respect everyones opinions, especially those who have spent so many years supporting our club but,
As long as Derek is in charge, I am 100% certain we will always play in Leigh. Our next move, if there is one, will be when we are filling the LSV every week and losing revenue because it simply isn’t big enough. Will that happen, likely not, but it for me is more likely than Leigh playing regular home games outside of our town.

We've certainly got quite the team, constantly surprise me as I wasn't expecting the win tonight, thought it might be a close and interesting game but there you go.
I can forgive the two easy tries we gifted Wire in exchange for the second half niling and the great defence in the first 15-20 of the second half when we really were under a lot of pressure. Granted Wolves made some sloppy mistakes themselves in build-up play but a lot of that was to do with our resistance and tackling.

If we stay relatively fit, there's no-one this team can't beat and no ceiling on what they can achieve.
We're well drilled, one of the fittest sides in the league and defend like demons.
