[Volleyball] Cavs Land Three All-Conference Selections

St. Gregory's University Baseball 

SHAWNEE- The Sooner Athletic Conference has released their selections for the SAC All-Conference teams, and the Cavaliers landed three student-athletes on the squad. Courtney Murphy (SR/Tulsa, Okla.) was selected second team All-SAC, while Sunny Clark (JR/Dublin, Texas) and Kayley Davis (SO/Irving, Texas) were each honorable mention selections.

[Volleyball] SAGU Sweeps Cavs to End Playoff Run

St. Gregory's University Baseball 

WAXAHACHIE, Texas- St. Gregory's (17-13, 7-9 SAC) traveled to Southwestern Assemblies of God University (26-5, 14-1 SAC) on Tuesday to face the Lions in the opening round of the SAC Playoffs, and SAGU was able to sweep the Cavs to end their season. The Cavaliers trailed the Lions 24-17 in the first set, but fought back and was able to cut the deficit to just 24-23. [Women's Basketball] Cavs Lose Hard Fought Battle Against Langston

St. Gregory's University Baseball 

LANGSTON, Okla.- The Cavaliers (1-3) traveled to Langston University (2-2) on Tuesday evening, and despite their best efforts, they fell in a close game, 67-74. The Lions came out firing in the first quarter and had a 27-16 lead after 10 minutes of play, but the Cavs battled back furiously in the second quarter and only trailed 34-36 at the half. [Women's Soccer] Adams Closes Strong Season With All-Conference Honor

St. Gregory's University Baseball 

SHAWNEE- On Tuesday morning, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced their selections for All-Conference teams, and St. Gregory's goalkeeper, Mallory Adams (SR/Edmond, Okla.) was named to the second team. Adams had a stellar year in which she posted 8 wins, 5 shutouts, a 1.57 goals against average, and a .822 save percentage. She was named the SAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week twice this season, and she ranked No. 17 in the NAIA in total saves (134) and No. 26 in saves per game (7.44). 

[Cheerleading] SGU Cheer To Host Recruiting Clinic

SHAWNEE- The Cavaliers cheer team will be hosting a recruiting clinic, for possible future Cavs on Wed., Nov. 9 from 6:30pm until 9:00pm. For more information please contact SGU head cheer coach, Mandy Thompson.

[Men's Cross Country] Cavs Set New Personal Best Times at SAC Championships

St. Gregory's University Baseball 

SHAWNEE- Prior to Saturday mornings race at Gordon Cooper Technology Center, the Cavaliers men's cross country team had not competed in a meet so far this year with the five runners needed to qualify for a team score, but at the SAC Championships they did, and they caught the fields eye. St. Gregory's came into the final meet in last place in the conference, but the Cavs were able to run hard and earn a seventh place finish when it mattered most. [Women's Cross Country] Vargas and Ambuul Lead Cavs at SAC Championships

St. Gregory's University Baseball 

SHAWNEE- St. Gregory's University hosted the 2017 SAC Cross Country Championships at the Gordon Cooper Technology Center on Saturday morning, and the Cavalier women competed strong to finish in fifth place as a team. The Cavs had 7 student-athletes competing in the women's race, and had four runners finish in the top 35 out of the 69 runners in total.

[Men's Basketball] OBU Takes Down Cavs in Rivalry Game

St. Gregory's University Baseball 

SHAWNEE- St. Gregory's (1-2) and Oklahoma Baptist University (1-0) renewed their cross-town rivalry on Friday night in a crowded Sumner Field House. The entire first half of the game was very back-and-forth, but the Bison were able to pull away in the second half for the 81-67 win.

[Women's Soccer] No. 21 USAO Ends SGU's Season in the Opening Round of SAC Playoffs

St. Gregory's University Baseball 

CHICKASHA, Okla.- On Friday evening, the Cavaliers (8-9-1, 4-5-1 SAC) went into Chickasha with hopes of upsetting the No. 21 team in the nation, and advance in the SAC Playoffs, but the Drovers (15-3-1, 9-1 SAC) had other plans. The Drovers were in the drivers seat for the entire contest, as they went on to win 5-1, and end St. Gregory's season.
