[Volleyball] Patriot Volleyball Set for Upcoming 2017 Season

Williamsburg, KY – The University of the Cumberlands volleyball team and fifth-year Head Coach Kathryn Hart are currently preparing for the upcoming season with the team motto "The Road to Iowa Begins Here." As part of that theme, the UC volleyball team will play 12 matches against teams that were either ranked or receiving votes in the final NAIA Coaches' Poll of 2016. [Softball] Softball Tabs Richards as Assistant Coach

Williamsburg, KY – University of the Cumberlands Head Softball Coach Bailey Dillender has named Alyssa Richards assistant coach for the Patriots softball program.  Richards will be working with the pitcher and catchers at UC and also assist with hitting.

Williamsburg, KY – The University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer Head Coach Steve Hamilton has announced the women's soccer schedule for the 2017 season featuring 17 games, including six games against teams that competed in last year's NAIA National Tournament.  The Patriots are slated to play seven of those games at home at the UC Soccer Complex and ten on the road.

Williamsburg, KY – The University of the Cumberlands men's soccer team is gearing up for their second season under Head Coach Chris LeFevre. This season the Patriots will play 11 away games, with two of them being neutral site games, and seven home games. Last season the team finished 6-11-3 and 3-3-1 in the Mid-South Conference.

Williamsburg, KY – Following a 22-9 season and their fourth consecutive trip to the NAIA National Tournament, Head Men's Basketball Coach Don Butcher has announced the signing of 6'2 guard Anthony Eaves for the 2017-2018 season.  Eaves spent the two last season at Division I Chicago State University.

Williamsburg, KY – UC Baseball had a fantastic year in 2017, bringing home their first Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship since 2004. One of the key factors in that success last year was the dominance on the mound from pitcher Noah Gapp. Now, he has taken his skills back across the northern border into his home country where he has signed with the Ottawa Champions of the Cam-Am Professional Baseball League.

Williamsburg, KY – The UC Baseball program is full of history and tradition. Over 1,400 wins have been amassed by just four head coaches with a number of athletes moving on to play after their collegiate career had ended. Two more former Patriots can now add their names to that list as catcher Zach McRoberts and outfielder Stone Osborne have signed contracts to play professional baseball this summer. 

[General] Men’s Bowling Edges Softball to Win Most Memorable Moment Title

Williamsburg, KY – After three weeks of voting, the Patriot Men's Bowling program winning the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championships has earned the title of UC's Most Memorable Moment during the 2016-17 season.  Men's Bowling, the top seed in the Rollins Bracket, narrowly defeated the UC Softball team winning the MSC Tournament Title in the championship round by a vote of 344-341.
