In Russia, surprised by the “offense” of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine against Lavrov
Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov was surprised that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba was “offended” by his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov for his unwillingness to contact. The parliamentarian wrote about this in his Twitter account.
Pushkov said that he did not understand Kuleba’s “offense”, since Ukraine had long been trying to worsen relations with Russia as much as possible, block negotiations and cut all contacts. He stressed that Kiev itself recalled its ambassador from Moscow. The senator noted that in Ukraine it was natural that they did not answer their calls in Moscow.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry accused Sergei Lavrov of unwillingness to contact in any format. According to Kuleba, Lavrov did not answer his call with a request to discuss the exacerbation in Donbass. The minister stressed that “he was not upset and did not shed tears,” but he was offended, since Moscow does not give an opportunity to enter into dialogue either within the framework of the Normandy Four, or even in the format of bilateral relations.
