[Women's Volleyball] Grand View finishes No. 10 in Postseason Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Grand View women's volleyball claimed the No. 10 spot in the postseason edition of the NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Wednesday following their run at the NAIA National Championships. The Vikings ended their season last week at the championships after falling short in the fifth set against Corban University during the Round of 16.

As a team, the Vikings finished ranked number one in NAIA Division I in total blocks with 393 and number five in blocks per game with 2.520. As well as number nine in total kills for Division I with 1970 kills. The Vikings were also 11th in total assists, 14th in total digs and 36th in total services aces.

Individually Courtney Twit (JR/West Des Moines, IA)t led the Vikings in blocks ranking 7th in Division I for total blocks with 169 followed by Ashley Prusha (SO/Amana, IA) ranked 13th  with 153 total blocks. 

Grand View ended the season with a perfect conference record, 19-0 and earning the regular season and conference tournament titles. Overall the Vikings ended with a 34-8 record.
