Hi, driven down a couple of times, when we used to get summer fixtures, so not been for a while. made a holiday out of it and a lesuirely drive, two or three days. A lovely trip either way, Reims , Dijon and Rhone Valley. Last time went straight down, round Paris then Clermont Ferrand and over Millau bridge, either way its brilliant . Not cheap with motorway tolls and hotels but a great trip. Looks like flights getting expensive ,£300 each so worth thinking about driving. A lot easier driving in europe than UK, and the weather is better. Its a carnival atmosphere on matchday and really made to feel welcome . Would definitely reccomend it .
