Trump calls the bombing of Pearl Harbor 'a pretty wild scene'
President Trump on Thursday described Pearl Harbor in a way that it's never been described before, calling the surprise bombing of Hawaii in 1941 a "pretty wild scene."
"George, George, thank you George," Trump said during his remembrance speech, turning to one of the veterans standing behind him. "That was a pretty wild scene. You'll never forget that, right?"
Needless to say, people were a little surprised by Trump's characterization of an event that left 2,403 Americans dead:

Everyone knows that FDR meant to say "Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—a pretty wild scene unfolded at Pearl Harbor” https://t.co/JQtsUBIOaZ
