‘The Last Jedi’ heads new movies opening this week, Dec. 15

Aida’s Secrets: This Israeli documentary follows the journey of Izak, who was born in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp during World War II and was adopted in Israel. As an adult, he learns from his birth mother, Aida, that he has a brother in Canada and discovers the identity of his birth father.

Along for the Ride: A documentary about the life and career of Dennis Hopper (“Easy Rider,” “Blue Velvet”).

Call Me by Your Name: This gorgeous movie directed by Luca Guadagnino takes place in Italy and stars Timothée Chalamet as a 17-year-old who begins a relationship with his father’s assistant played by Armie Hammer.
