The 10 most-searched celebrity breakups of 2017, according to Google
ABC
There were numerous celebrity couples who called it quits in 2017, but some made more of an impact than others.
From Chris Pratt and Anna Faris' shocking split to two "Bachelor" couples coming to an end, 2017 was a year of heartbreak.
Google looked at the top-trending searches in the US for celebrity breakups to see which were the biggest of the year and identified the ones that spiked in traffic the most since 2016. Some of the breakups happened in 2016 but were searched more in 2017 thanks to the events that happened.
Here's what Google found were the 10 biggest celebrity breakups of the year.
10. Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney
Fred Hayes/Getty ImagesLady Gaga and Taylor Kinney began dating in 2011 after the "Chicago Fire" actor played her love interest in her music video for "You and I." The two were engaged in 2015, but Gaga shared news of their split in 2016.
In her Netflix documentary "Gaga: Five Foot Two," the singer explained how she and then-fiancé Kinney had been fighting.
"Me and Taylor are fighting, so that sucks," she said in the film. "My threshold for b------- with men is just — I don't have one anymore. In relationships, you have to move together."
In the film, she also seemed to blame the breakup on her success, citing her role in "A Star Is Born" as the breaking point.
"My love life has just imploded," she said. "I sold 10 million [records] and lost Matt. I sold 30 million and lost Luke. I did a movie and lose Taylor. It's like a turnover. This is the third time I've had my heart broken like this."
But Gaga has moved on to a new romance with celebrity agent Christian Carino, who she's been reported to have been dating since February. Us Weekly reported in November that the two were engaged.
9. Amy Schumer and Ben Hanisch

The comedian's rep confirmed the breakup in a statement to People: "Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends."
8. Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi

"It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement," the ex-couple said in a statement to E! News. "We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other."
