Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks picked up a rare December loss last Sunday in Jacksonville to fall to 8-5 SU and 5-7-1 ATS on the season. But with the Rams also picking up a loss at home against Philadelphia, Seattle retained control of its own destiny in the battle for the top spot in the NFC West.
Seattle won the last meeting between these two teams in Los Angeles back in October and would control the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Rams if it were to pick up another win on Sunday.
Dating back to 2009, the Seahawks are 19-5 SU and 18-6 against the spread in their last 24 home games against division rivals per the OddsShark NFL Database.
Los Angeles Rams
Despite losing to the Eagles on Sunday, the Rams continued to thrive on offense, scoring 35 points to bring their season average to 30.5 points per game. Jared Goff had his worst game of the season the last time he faced the Seahawks, completing only 46.8 percent of his passes while throwing two interceptions with no touchdowns. It was one of only two times this season that the 9-4 SU and 8-5 ATS Rams were held to under 20 points.
Los Angeles is 6-19 SU and 10-15 ATS in its last 25 games against Seattle.
Sunday's total is set at 48 points. The UNDER is 9-2 in the last 11 games between these two teams.
Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor combined for 10 tackles in Seattle's shutdown effort against Los Angeles. Both of those members of the Legion of Boom are sidelined with injuries this time around. The Rams have already locked up their first winning season since 2003, and an upset win would bring the team one step closer to its first playoff berth since 2004.
