Istanbul (dpa) - A summit of Islamic nations has recognized a Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, Turkey‘s state-run Anadolu news agency reported as the meeting closed in Istanbul on Wednesday.The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held an extraordinary summit to coordinate a response to US President Donald Trump‘s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital and move the US embassy to the city.Sources said more than two dozen leaders attended the summit and, in all, 56 nations were represented.
