The NBA 2K league is on its way and your favorite NBA team might be participating.

There are 17 teams, in total, developing teams for the NBA 2K league. NBA 2K and the NBA will combine to select the best players from across the globe for the league.

Soon, the teams participating will start unveiling their team names and logos. As we get further down the line, the rosters will be unveiled as well.

Whether you’re an NBA fan or you just love NBA 2K and e-sports, this is an exciting time. These two worlds are combining and they’re going to make something beautiful.

Here’s what we know so far

To participate, players much complete an online application by Jan. 31. Players must also win at least 50 Pro-Am games between Jan. 1-31 to qualify for the second stage of tryouts after Jan. 31.

After the initial qualification period is over, there will be a scouting process conducted to vet qualifying players and determine who will enter the draft pool. This will all lead to the draft in March where the top 85 players will be selected. The season will tip off in May and finish in August.
