Why won't Lions coach Jim Caldwell admit what his favorite movie is?
We might have an actual answer.
On Wednesday, Lions head coach Jim Caldwell was asked what his favorite movie was, and he gave quite the answer:
Jim Caldwell asked about his favorite movie, said he cares not to share cause he doesn't want it to be misunderstood and doesn't want to explain it.

That’s weird to want to deflect on a movie opinion like that. Who would have thought that Caldwell would have movie takes so off the wall that he would be afraid to share them?
So we asked you all to guess, and this is what you came up with.
Some of you got creative, and made your own movies
They were mostly based on how people felt about his coaching. Surprise!

Gigli was a popular choice
Maybe Caldwell was a Bennifer fan?

There was also a good variety of other films
We had everything from Oscar winners ... to movies that definitely didn’t win an Oscar.

It appears we have an actual answer!
The tweet from the Detroit Free Press’ Dave Birkett suggests that his favorite movie is The Magnificent Seven.
OK, I know everyone’s had fun with #JimCaldwellsFavoriteMovie, but thanks to @cmonarrez’s steel trap memory & some intrepid reporting, we’ve tracked down the answer. And I know someone on here got it right https://t.co/mnw48lntBi pic.twitter.com/pcctC449Jc

Assuming Caldwell’s talking about the original from 1960 and not the 2016 rendition, he shouldn’t be shy about it. It received a 90 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. And it’s not exactly a controversial film, despite historical inaccuracies.
There you have it. I think all of your suggestions are funnier, so congrats!
