In what looked like was going to be a frustrating first half for Tottenham against Brighton, it took a cross come goal from Serge Aurier to put us ahead.

The ‘home’ side had the better opportunities to open the scoreline against the Premier League newcomers up until Aurier’s goal. Erik Lamela and Son had both gone close.

With the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United currently winning their respective matches, the pressure is on Tottenham to also get three points to keep their hopes of a top four finish and another Champions League campaign next season alive.
