2D Marketing Artist
The marketing artist will be responsible for the development of visual assets for the marketing, social media, in-game, user acquisition, and community efforts of Temple Run and Temple Run 2. In this role, you will conceptualize and develop creative ads, working with existing assets.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the conceptualization, design direction, and development of beautiful and engaging user facing visual art for Temple RunDevelop creative ads to support the user acquisition campaigns for mobile games targeting unique demographic and interest-based targets across multiple campaigns and mobile gamesWork with marketing team and developers to ensure that the visual identity is in line with the marketing strategySupport the product team in developing in-game promotional art, designing email communications, and in-game visual communicationsSupport the analytics team in developing app icons, banners, and screenshotsCreate assets for the games’ social media and community needsReview and recommend external freelance artists or creative vendors appropriate to each project and gameWork with freelancers and external vendors when necessary to outsource additional workloadMaintain excellent communication internally and externally with our development partners
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in art, design, or related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mobile or digital advertising as graphic designer, motion graphics artist, or similarSolid understanding of color, composition, typography and graphic stylesExcellent illustration skills, with the ability to produce different art styles ranging from game art to realistic renderingsExpert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignA passion for games and mobile gaming
Self-starter, able to work autonomously
High level of attention to detail
Knowledge of production methodologies and tools, including JIRA and digital asset management processesStrong written and oral communication skills and ability to work with creative partnersSkilled problem-solver that is comfortable working in a fast-paced marketing art development pipelineOpen to constructive feedback and the ability to incorporate feedback into designOnline portfolio and/or demo reel that demonstrates the ability to succeed in this role
Bonus Points:
Mobile gaming experience or ad agency experience is a huge plusExperience with 3D software (Autodesk Maya, 3DSMax) and character posing is not required, but a big plusExperience with video editing/creation software (such as iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Final Cut) is also a big plus
