MONTREAT, N.C. - The St. Andrews University Baseball team dropped their 3-game conference series with nearby foe Montreat College (NC) on Thursday and Friday. SAU fell 5-4 in extra innings on Thursday and lost both ends of the doubleheader Friday 5-0 and 7-3.

SAU, however, would not be done and rallied for the tying run in the top of the ninth.

Freshman reliever Charles Tortorici (FR/Fredericksburg, VA) then came in and walked the first batter he faced forcing in the winning run for the Cavaliers and handing the Knights another heart-breaking loss this season. O'Brien (2-3) allowed a hit and a run with 2 walk and a strikeout.
SAU was led offensively by two-hit games from junior RF Noah Whalen (JR/Buffalo, NY) and sophomore 2B Cam Harvey while Harvey drove in two runs.
