Obviously it could be worse, we could have a squad full of freebies, loanees with the highest earner on 5 grand a week.

But has there ever been a more frustrating start to a season?

Not a single Blues fan would have said "we've won this" at 2-0 with 15 minutes to spare, because we all know how the club tends to punch us in the face.

It shouldn't have been, but that was one of the most painful goals we've ever conceded. The desperation for a win and then that happens.
