First Adidas/NCAA Trial About To Start

Things are going to get edgy for a lot of people

Jury selection has started in the first trial resulting from the college basketball scandal.

Merl Code, Jim Gatto and Christian Dawkins are the first to face charges.

Code was an AAU coach and a former Clemson player. Gatto was an Adidas executive and Dawkins was a runner and a wanna be agent.

The jurors were told that schools that may come up in this trial include Arizona, LSU, Oregon, DePaul, Creighton, Texas, Oklahoma State, USC and ACC members Louisville, NC State and Miami.

And one of the key figures in the allegations is former NC State star Dennis Smith.

It’s going to be a very dicey time for a lot of schools, not least of all some in the ACC, so stay tuned.
