Capitol Report: About one-in-five negative opinions won’t be seen if SEC pushes ahead with exemption plan

Jay Clayton wasn’t satisfied with increasing the number of public companies that can disclose less to investors, so now he’s set on changing the rules to exempt more public companies from the requirement to get an auditor’s opinion on their internal controls.
