Arsenal Legend Says There's Another Player That The Club Can't Afford To Lose On A Free Transfer

Much like Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck’s contract expires at the end of the season, and there has been little talk of a renewal.

When asked about the England international’s future, Gunners legend Ian Wright said the club should sign the player up to a new deal as soon as possible. He was quoted by the Mirror as saying:

“He’s someone that I think Arsenal should definitely try to sign up for the long term. He’s valuable to Arsenal.”

“I think he’s got eight to 10 goals in him over the course of a season. In the current climate, I don’t think Arsenal can afford to let someone like that go.”
