Predicted XI to face Barcelona

It’s a tricky predicted XI this week with Tottenham’s growing list of first team injuries. The likes of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele, Michel Vorm and Serge Aurier are all confirmed out for the fixture (as reported by The Telegraph).

This is a huge blow for Spurs, particularly as a number of these players were a huge part of Spurs’ 3-1 thumping of Madrid at Wembley last season.

Dembele ran the midfield, Jan was a rock at the back, Eriksen scored a goal and dictated play, and Dele Alli turned up with a brace.

Spurs have however confirmed that Hugo Lloris will start the match in goal, with Paulo Gazzaniga dropping to the bench.
