Teachers dispersed for trying to take out rally in Jaipur

Around 500 teachers who tried to take out a rally in Jaipur on Tuesday to press for their demands were dispersed by the police.

The teachers demonstrated at the Shiksha Sankul on Jawaharlal Nehru road to press for their demands regarding salary, pension scheme, change in school timings and others

They tried to take out a rally -- apparently without permission -- but were dispersed under Section 129 (dispersal of assembly by use of civil force) of the Code Of Criminal Procedure, Bajaj Nagar Station House Officer Mangilal said.

The agitating teachers were taken to elsewhere in buses and released, the SHO added.
