NYU Tandon School of Engineering) The oldest international organization of radio arts and sciences professionals, the Radio Club of America, will award the Armstrong Medal to New York University Professor Theodore (Ted) Rappaport for demonstrated excellence and his lasting contributions. Rappaport's seminal research, most recently in the millimeter wave (mmWave) radio spectrum, advanced commercialization of this 5G technology. He is the founder of the internationally recognized research center NYU WIRELESS.
