Ted Cruz's Houston office evacuated after delivery: AP
A package addressed to Sen. Ted Cruz's Houston campaign headquarters caused a lockdown that was lifted later on Tuesday, a Cruz spokeswoman said. The Associated Press said authorities lifted the order after two people were apparently exposed to a "white powdery substance." Cruz's spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said no one from the campaign staff was taken to the hospital and that the package was opened in the lobby.
