If people ask you, which place do you say?

Do you say the place you're born?
Where you grew up?
Where you live now?
Anywhere else you identify with for any reason?

If you're life has taken you outside the Birmingham area this could involve different cities. If you've only ever been in the West Mids then of course we're talking localities.

This is all from a conversation with a bloke who despite being a born and raised scouser has lived in Birmingham over 20 years and supports Blues therefore answers the question with "Birmingham" or at most says he's a "Brummie originally from Liverpool"
